Albert Camus

I thought I would start off by sharing a quote by my favourite philosopher, Albert Camus. Firstly-for those of you who are unfamiliar with Albert Camus, he was a French philosopher and author in the 1930’s-1960’s. He followed the philosophical school of thought known as absurdism– which essentially means that one should embrace the absurdity of their own existence.

“In the midst of winter, I found there was within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger- something better pushing right back.”

      1. Noted. I’ll be sure to pick that one up first. I have that, the Myth of Sisyphus, and one other work of his (whose title eludes me currently). Anyway, thanks for the recommendation.
